Its a real good track but last time I checked they didn't post there open track times. I've been looking at going to a track out on the border of wisconsin about 30-45 minutes from the cities but I hear its not the best track.

The track is real nice, and if you want to rent it out you got to call them. What is open track? Is that when anyone can go in? I think if we had a meet we should like rent it for like 2 hours or so.

The track in WI sucks ass. Its Rock falls raceway, they dont take care of the track worth shit.
Last I heard it was around 3k or so per day to rent brainerd. But if we could get a few other groups together to help split the cost :)

BIR is the name of the track, I worked there last summer and they had street drags on wendsdays a couple of times a month in the summer, It cost about $20.00 and you have to wear a helmet and the car has to pass a safety inspection. My husband took his Trans Am GTA there a couple of years ago and could run as many times as he could get in line for and it was pretty much buddy racing (run what you brung), no classes. I haven't been to the street drags in a couple of years as I get done with work before they start at 5:00 p.m. so things may have changed a little but there is always a really good turnout.

i kno this is the wrong place but i figure if u guys live by me climate is somewhat the same:) so since this is my gf's first AM and i own a ford 150, where do i start? i know the basics.. air in take pullies exhaust and all that crap, but i also know differant brands work better on differant vehicals. any info on what type is better for the AM? its a 99 with the 3.4 v-6 by the way and fully stock. also i am going to switch to full syn oil. i run mobile one in my truck and i think im going to in the car unless someone disagrees and knows of a better (except you amsoil ppl;) its the same in the f-150 forums and i cant get it local and im not ordering). For me, I don't think ever I'll use synthetic oil. Just seems kinda a waste of money... :\ But that's me.

Anyways, cool to hear you want to mod the GA. There's a bunch of things you can do. The only down side I always see is things are more expensive for us.
