View Full Version : Venom Manifolds and TB?
1) Would any of these two fit a 96 GA (2.4)?
2) Which one of these two venom manifolds gives the best performance and why?
3) Would a 65mm TB fit in the second manifold ($620+ one) ???
Check the pic out and you'll see what I'm talking about!!!

I the log style would probably give the better results. Although don't count on huge numbers with either unless your running a power adder/or Hardcore all-motor work. They are just mostly bling factor. I wouldn't waste your money on them but if you have the $$ why not I guess :). Yes the TB should fit either.
Is the lof style even made for our cars? I didn't know they made two manifolds. Or is it for the 2.3L?
The log style is for the 96-00 Cavaliers w/ 2.4L, that's why I thought It would work for GAs w/ 2.4L....But, I'm not really sure if it would fit!!!
I found that in gaupgrades.com (2.4L engine)
Hey yeahdough and experts; how well do you think any of those two manifolds would work (HP) if I have a nice CAI (Induction Dynamics), high flow cat (magnaflow), flowmaster (40Series) and I will get a coated header soon... how much HP do you think a venom manifold would add?
I might get the one in the middle!!!

There shouldn't be any difference between the Cavalier and the GA 2.4's, as far as parts go. The only difference you should run into is engine bay layout, so if the cavi's have a little more room inbetween the engine and the radiator fan then maybe you will have problems, but I highly doubt there's that much difference.

I would think a log style manifold would have a heck of time idling or power off the line. More for drag racing; serious engine building is a must.

Nah it would be fine. It kinda remeinds me of the HO manifold. I don't think your CAI intake would work without some moddification. Looks like the tb would be in a different sopt.
