I do not have a Grand Am, but I do own a 1996 Sunfire GT w/ the 2.4 twin cam, as alot of the GA owners have. Hope to be able to help out in regards to mechanical issues, I have 115,000 miles on my Twin Cam, and have learned alot about the engine.
My BF is ENTOMBED GT - he owns the GA in the family. :)
I am also a member of J-BODY.ORG, unfortunately my class of car has attracted a very high population of young, ignorant ricers. Fast and Furious....hehe.
I have observed the overall attitude on this board and I think I will enjoy it more as it seems to be more of a mature crowd.
