window guides?

pontiac wants me to pay 350 to replace the window regulator when my regulator is just fine, the little plastic window guides are what busted, does anyone know where i can get the guides? pontiac says they only come with the whole package and not individually. any help would be greatly appreciated, its for a 99 grand am gt 2 door

You should do a search in the problem section, you'll find alot of info on this in there. They'll probably move this thread there anyway. I had the same problem though. if you do a search, I think someone in here said they do sell the pieces, and had a part number for them, but not sure, I had already bought the whole set up and put it on myself. If you have any questios just ask.

you could try junkyard, sometimes you could get lucky. Although most cars there are at least 20 years old, sometimes new crashed cars come in though.

I tried a junkyard myself, they wouldn't seperate the pieces, and they wanted 150 bucks for the used setup, said forget it.
