My car has been leaking washer fluid since the day I got it. I fill the reservoir, and within 2 days its empty even if I dont use it. Well, when I had it in for the power window fix, I asked the dealership to see if it was just the bottle or a hose. They only had my car an hour.......and didnt take anything apart. I know myself that the thing is really buried. Anyway, they came out and said the motor was cracked and thats where the fluid was leaking out from. I dont know how they determined this just by peeking in. I have had 2 other garages tell me there was no way they could tell unless they really got down to the motor. Of course, the quote was a nice chunk of change (250 dollars plus) Any opinions?

I had the same problem. My husband came on the boards and said apparantly that was a common prob with the GA's. He bought a new one at O'Reily's and replaced it himself for me...that's why I married him:lol:
I'm guessing it was under $30 bucks, will find out for sure in a couple of hours when he wakes up...

Yeah, but my question is, can they tell just by looking without taking anything off the car? I am thinking it might just be the bottle or the hose, but they claim it to be the motor.( the most expensive part of course ) I want to know if they are just BSing me or not.

He said the part was under $20. It just took time to do. If you have ramps it helps, also remove the wheel well lining. He said he could see it dripping. This may help ya:
