I'm getting ready to change out my Bosch Platinum 2's and was curious as to what plug everyone would recommend. I replaced the factory Platinum Delco's (41-940) almost 2 years ago and since then I've had a slight misfire. The dealer wants $11.21 each for the Delco's which is kinda steep in price. I would also like to know if anyone has replaced the platinums with the cheap copper plugs.

Stick with the factory replacement A/C Delcos in the 3.4. I would stay away from the coppers......the Plats will last longer.

These guys have them for $5.40 each.

There should be some places in your area that would have them cheaper than the dealer, or just buy them on line.

I've been VERY hapy with my NGK Iridium for over 1.5 years. The Delco are direct replacements though so they can't be bad...

Check at Autozone or PepBoys, they were only like $4.

Go with the Delco. GM's are freakin' touchy when it comes to anything ignition related if you replace it with non-OEM.

Thanks to all who replied......I ended up going back to the AC Delco's. Found them at WalMart for $13 a pair. Cheers!

I went with the AC Delco's when I did the job a month ago. They were 3.99 each at AutoZone. That seemed high enough in price but they work great. Worst thing about the job was getting the spark plug wires off the backside of the engine.

... I have the Irridiums, if you care :wink4:  ... they works GREAT!!!! If I had of seen this thread sooner, I could have sent you my old 'factory' ones with only 20,000 KMs on them (on second thought, if you're gonna have them out, you might as well install new ones :D)
