TPS Sensor

Is there a certain way that the TPS Sensor has to be put on the throttle body? My computer is throwing a code 22 which is the TPS Sensor having low voltage. I really need help. My car is still driveable but my performance is poor. Any feedback will be appreciated.

The '88 TPS can be adjusted. You would need to have the specs and a DVOM to set it.
