I bought my grand am at carmax and it came with this white carmax sticker on the back. i cant tell if i could just litely scratch it off or not. I dont want to mess up the paint but i think the letters are ugly.

Just use a hair dryer to warm up the sticker & use your fingernail to peel it off. Then clean it with goo gone or something to get any left over adhesive off.

There should be a product of some sort to remove it. My freind bought a VW GTI Vr6. He wanted to remove all his simbols off. The GTI simbol and the Vr6. He said that he removed it with some kind of a product that a freind of his has. I need to use it myself as well because my car came with this stupide dealership badge that I hate. I want to get ride of it bad.

they do make something that is supposed to take glue and stuff off. you put it on the end of a drill and spin it across the paint. it's supposed to take all the glue and stuff off without scratching the paint, but i just don't see it happening.

Zippo lighter fluid gets rid of the glue pretty good

You can also spray whatever glue residue you can't get off with WD-40, let it sit for a bit, and then go at it with a shop rag. It won't harm the paint and usually does the trick

zippo doesn't use butane. butane is usually used in the cheap lighters but they do make great lighters that use butane. zippo lighters use zippo fluid. If you know about cigars and pipes, you know that lighting with butane is better cuz you don't taste the gas but with zippos you can taste it when you light.
but anyways, i would think the hair dryer would work well to remove the stuff.

I've used Solvo-Plast II Adhesive remover on my GA, and it worked great.
We tried the same stuff on my buddies 92' Z24 and it kinda dulled the clear coat, so I guess its "Use at ur own risk"
