i have 2 2 1/4 inch 40 series flowmasters i am going to use the stock cat but if i went with a 2 1/2 from the cat to the [ T ] pipe that splits it in to 2 1/4 inch to the flowmasters

would i have enough back pressure to keep the torque up at 180 around 2000 rpm

yes. running a cat alone gives you enough backpressure so you dont really have to worry about it changing drastically
