Would there be any way to make a turbo set up for my GA? What would have to be modified and changed? I know I would have to fabricate a turbo header. Where would I tap the oil line at to cool the turbo? Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks
Josh

I think that there is a company that makes turbo kits for our cars. If not then you could have one custom build. A turbo kit is a lot of money and plus after 40k of miles you have to rebuild your engine. Turbo destroys your engine. I would tell you to go with a supercharger. You wont get as much HP as with a turbo but for our American cars a supercharger is the way to go.

All types of forced induction reduces the life of engines. Ask anyone that has to rebuild there supercharged 3800 after 100,000.

well, the duke is a good engine, but only in the reliability column. If you want more hp, do a quad 4 ho swap, it will be both more reliable and more powrful than a turbo duke setup.

I agree with the statment that turbos make the engine life shorter but not so much that you need rebuild your motor every 40k thats just crazy.
I know turbo motors that have been well takeing care of will last as long as a non turbo motor.
Now if your pushing high boost and its knocking of course your motor wont last long at all.
Just my 2 cents.

I disagree take a look on bonnevilleclub.com and you will actually see what the owners and mechanics say about that bulletproof pushrod V6
