As with most hotel reservations, you reserve the hotel with a credit card, and if you choose to pay cash when you arrive thats fine. Usually when you check in you will work out those details :)

Even if you're not sure you'll be able to come book your room anyway. You can usually cancel the reservation at any time up to the day you are supposed to come in before 4PM or something like that without penalty.

The bulk of the blocked off rooms are for Friday and Saturday night, if you planned on staying longer then just call and let them know cause I set a handful aside for Thursday and Sunday night.

That's the lamest excuse ever. Sure it's a lot of fun showing off ur car n stuff, but plenty of ppl show up stock. The real fun is getting to meet everyone, putting a face to an avatar, drooling over ppl's rides, racing at the track, drinking, n all that jazz..

i am going, but i am going to be flying. Angel is gettin up there in miles and i dont have the funds to pull off a two day driving trip this year. i am also going to be leaving Texas on June 6th.... i'm going on a little side trip to Canada and then riding back down to Albany with Big Pun and Redgrandam :)

I definitely wanna go. I had no idea there would be this many people going to this thing. I've got a nearly bone-stock ride, and a long drive to get there, and I have no one to room with. I also have a distaste for driving that far without at least having someone to tailgate through traffic, etc. If anyone has an extra bed available, and you aren't the type that spends all night shitting yourself and smelling up the room, I'd split the bill.

Im really starting to wonder what people 18-20 years old do in New York!!!! You cant do anything!!! you cant rent a hotel, you cant drink, you cant go to a casino!!!! It must really suck to be young in New York. When i go to rent a room (which sould be any day) the person that i talk to better not tell me i cant rent a room because im 20! He/she will get a peice of my mind for sure!!! ive rented countless rooms before on trips, and some of them even with the same hotel chain...just in Canada. oh well! whatcha gonna do?!

if you are 18, you can get a credit card, therefore rent a room :)
