2.3 compatible??

Hey all,

I'm just wondering if I could use an A/C system from a 2.3 Quad for on the Duke.......any ideas?

What parts of the A/C system are you refuring to? Maybe some components might work, but I couldn't tell you for sure.

The compresser, pipes, coolant tank etc. I'm guessing my Compresser is shot cuz I don't get any cold air during the summer and, I saw a bunch of stuff on Ebay for a 2.3.

I'd guess that the compressor probably won't work on the 2.5. Luckily my A/C still works good so I have never had to look into any repairs. Im sure Autozone or a place like that could tell you according to part #, maybe by chance some of the parts you need are the same part #

from my knowledge, all the parts will bolt up and work. THe compressor may not have the right bolt pattern on the housing, you may need a little machine work.

Well, I've just found that the compressor is working just fine so, I may just need a Freon top up :)
