If i had gotten a ported upper and lower intake manifold and a 62 mm TB, about how much HP would i gain and is it worth the money?

The only time it would probably be worth the money is if you where going all the way. Me personally i would do it. Thats because im getting boost. But its really up to you. Streetarsenal and rsm racing have them both. Streetarsenal gives the horse power figures with all of it it is about 30 hp but with boost that increases. But 30 is still a nice feeling when you hit it.

First of all SA estimates on hp are WAY off. There is no way a 3100 can gain 30 hp from a p&p intake manifold and TB, even at the crank. Yes, with boost that will increase, but still wont reach 30hp. A more reasonable amount is probably 10-15 hp at the wheels. The best and cheapest route is to get the 62mm TB from APOC and then have a local shop p&p your intake manifold for you. The price to p&p each manifold should be no more than $100, so $200 total. So if you go that route, you are looking at $430 and in my opinion, worth it.

I'm gonna assume you are talking about putting in a TB and p&p your own manifolds. If so, you can do it yourself if you have the right tools and no what you are doing (or if you have a friend that does). Otherwise it would be much easier to take it to a shop. If you are talking about buying the TB and intake manifold from a place, that would be easier to install yourself and you wouldnt need as many tools, but it all depends on your knowledge of your car.

Is it worth it just to get the p&p throttle body from SA? I also heard that the 3400 TB will also fit on the 3100 and since it is bigger to begin with than the 3100 TB your better off getting that insted of the 3100 TB. Is that true? They are both the same price from SA.

No its not worth getting the TB from SA cuz they are only ported on the outer half of the TB and it uses the stock plate so you arent letting any more air in your intake manifold. The 3400 TB is a little bigger (56mm vs. 52mm) but Im not sure if it will work without having to port the UIM. BTW SA only ports the outer half 4mm.
