If a wheel has an offset of 35 will spacers be needed to use those wheels?I know hubrings will be needed since it is 114.3mm Thanks!

Hmmmmm you might need some spacers. IIRC the stock offset is 42mm. I've heard of 38 being used but I don't know if 35 will.

spacers will only make the problem worse on a wheel/car that has too low an offset. When the offset is too low you're generally rubbing on the interior wheelwell somewhere because the wheel/tire are sitting further out from the wheelwell instead of tucked inside. If you put a spacer on you are simply increase how far the wheel/tire bump out, which will most likely increase the problem

So a wheel with an offset of 35mm will not work on a 99 Grand Am?So the stock offset is 42 and not 38?Thanks

The range i have heard is from 38 to a 42mm will work but the higher the closer to the suspension the lower the more out the wheel goes.My Enkeis are 40's and were close to the suspension in my eyes.

with that small tire you should be fine, but close. I wouldn't go up to a 235 though
