Lake George

Hey if anyone is interested in going to lake george for a few hours over the weekend let me know. I am more then willing to bring people up this way. To let you all know its only about 40 maybe 45 mins away from where we are staying.

A trip to Lake George is not complete without a trip up the mountain. Great view of the whole area and a good photo place for the cars.

It's a lake north of Albany NY, almost on the Vermont border. The Americade motorcycle rally is held there every year.

Oh, man...I miss Lake George. Used to go up there all the time. I am a native of Albany but moved to FL 3 years ago. I am seriously considering going up there for the meet, especially now that I have the new GA GT. I also have a friend that lives in Lake Placid, or Saranac Lake, rather.

lake george would be a nice place to have a photo taken but so was the place we were last year. But like i said the offer is there if anyone is interested. Things only start to open in may, so its not too busy yet.

Kinda :offtopic: I was up in Lake Placid this weekend.. at Whiteface. THAT was an amazing view from up at the summit.. just.... wow.

If you guys go up during Americade I wish you the best of luck, I can hardly get though there on my bike let alone a car during the Americade. Not to mention several cars.

Best bet would be to get off of I-87 at exit 22 and drive back down to the school and park there. It's a real short walk to everything from there.

ok hey everyone!! I didn't realize americade was that weekend i thought it was at the end of june. Biggnome are you sure it is that weekend??? I haven't heard anything about it. Well If everyone still wants to go we can, knowing this it will be a little difficult but everyone doesn't have to take their own cars. We can car pool. That way everyone won't get lost. So if you still want to go just let me know, i don't mind getting people up here.
