Ok guys I have a coupel of questions.
1) When would you usually have to replace your springs and shocks and struts on a GA? my car has 155 500 kms on it and ive noticed my front lifts up a bit more than it used to
2) Can someone tell me what the sizes of my tire mean? I have 205/60 R 15's now the 205 I imagine is the diameter, the 60 the width and the 15 the rims size. Im wondering what size tires other guys have. Ive noticed that with these tires, I dont get the traction I should be getting in the snow. and I also know that wider tires mean less traction in snow and such.
Anyhelp would be great.

Most people replace their struts when the car feels like it floats on the highway, that is sort of bouncing up and down after a bump. At 150,000 kms, yours might be used up.

On your tires, the 205 is the width of the tread in mm, the 60 is a percentage of the width as it related to the distance between the road and the rim. Low profile tires have smaller percentages. As you said, the 15 is the diameter of the wheel.

ok.. cool, so the 60 isnt the width of the tire which might be giving me bad traction in the winter. thx.
Sorry for another bad quesiton. But what are the shocks/ springs/struts?. I know what the spring is. Its that damn big coil. But for struts and shocks or what.. well im just kinda confused on everything lately.

I may be new to the whole car thing but the 205 being in millimeters doesn't seem right. I just ran the conversion and 205mm equals a little over 8 inches. Aren't stock rims on GA's 6 to 7 inches wide? :???:

Yep, 205 mm is the width of the contact band on the tire. Tires are usually 1-1.5 inches larger than the rims they sit on to protect against curb rash.
