Liz and I want to bring both of our GA's. Unfortunately, without taking turns driving, that would require about 24 hours of straight driving for us to get there (We'd rather not plunk down $40-$50 for a motel each way on top of all the other cash we're going to be putting down for the trip). Sure, we could drive the whole 24 straight. But, that would wreck us for the rest of the weekend and we couldn't then be our charming and lively selves.

Is there anyone somewhere around and about halfway up from Florida along I-95 who would be willing to take in a couple of GAOCers for the night and then caravan up the rest of the way? Or maybe even just take in a couple of fellow GAOCers even if you're not going (And, ideally, take us in on the way back down too :D)?

Anyway...

im in NC, and only about an 1 east of I95, i may be able to accommadate you for a night. only thing is when you plan on leaving. i may be leaving on thursday. just let me know what you think.

We're most likely going to be heading up on Wednesday of that week. We haven't decided if we're leaving after work on Wednesday or on that morning. All depends on how nice our boss is in granting some extra vacation/sick time.

I'm in Ohio. I don't know if you'll be going through there or not, but if so, it's a possibility. You'd just have to be okay with my dog, since she usually goes and sleeps in the guest room at night. Sometimes she's kinda scary, cuz she growls in her sleep. I think she might have some unresolved issues from her youth or something.
