suicide the doors

I went to a car show yesturday at Hara Arena in Dayton,Ohio and it was pretty decent show,the place i had my car lowere DIC(Dayton Import Customs) was there so i went to check out their booth.But most of the cars there,mostly the classics were chopped and suiceded their doors and it started growing on me.Would i have t custom make hinges or is there a kit out there already?

you can use the hinges out of the old jeep wangoneers. im not sure what exact years work i think its the early to mid 80's ones. ill have to ask around and see if i can find out.

the thing with our cars is that the doors are so heavy and theres not enough support in the pillars. but with some reinforcment im sure it can be done.

suicidedoors.com sells the hinges, too. Never heard a bad word about Jason as suicidedoors, either. Also, go to http://www.streetsourcemag.com and find Layd2Rest. His name is Robbie, and he owns the most bad-ass Alero around. He had his driver-side door suicided, so you could find his e-mail and ask him about what sorts of reinforcements he did to make sure his doors didn't sag and look like ass, or, even worse, break anything.
