I have a 93 Grand AM SE. I was in an accident about 3 months ago. I havent tryed to start my car since the accident until yesterday. When I try to start it, I cant hear the fuel pump turn on. Is there a fuel shut off swith that might be causing my car not to turn on or is it the fuel pump. If it is the swith, where is it located. If it is the fuel pump, what is the easiest way to change it. Thanks in advance to anybody who can help.

What is it exactly that your car is doing when you turn your car to the start position. If you hear the fuel pump generally it is not the problem however they may be a pinched line or someother problem that may be causing your problem. Give me as much information as you can and I will do my best to help you.

It turns out that the fuel filter was cloged up. I changed it and now I get gas passing through. It turns on now. Thanks anyways for your input. Whenever I need anything, I know I will find it here.
