Hi All,
Is there a way to make this engine run leaner? Every time I start her up, she is running way too rich. This is a common occurence and, I'm thinking she is running rich period!!!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
C

how do you know its running rich is it setting a code? 02 sensors are the biggest problem with fuel mixtures on 2.5's My car liked to eat them for breakfast..... and lunch.... and dinner.....and a midnight snack......it got quite expensive untill i found that bosch oem ones lasted a lot longer than crap replaccements.

I'm just going on the smell and fuel consuption. I replaced the 02 sensor about 6 weeks ago with a Bosch one.

You should smell my exhaust with no cat coverter an a 4' OBX tube. Iam supprised it isnt shootin a flame it reeks soo bad of gas, actually ive though about riggin up a spark plug somewhere on the muffler an runnin a rocker switch to the battery an a couple other things just ta see if I could do it.
p.s. kinda dangerious :)
