Techinacally, you aren't supposed to have red on the front of your car at all.

Now that that is overwith: I belive that you can just change the color of the bulb. I don't remember if my '92 had colored lenses for the signals or not.

Just change the bulb. The one you have right now is supposed to be orange like I have on my 94.

92-95 GA's didn't have colored lens' for the turn signals, they were clear,or kind of frosted really, kind of like the Cavaliers, well the 96-99,two seperate pieces, one the main headlight and the corner lens is the turn signal.

I didn't think they had a colored lens.

Yea, just change the bulb then, Katie.

I've had to have one of my turn signal housings replaced and I'm pretty sure that the lens was clear. You can see orange inside but I'm fairly sure that's just the reflections of the bulb itself. Plus my manual states that replacement turn signal bulbs need to be amber or orange. I could be wrong though but I'll double check in the morning.

they are deffinately clear,my sister had a 93 and my parents were going to give it to me but the car she had for college broke down so they got her the 93 GA and noticed how the headlight and corner piece were clear, only the bulb was making it look orange. 99+ GA's are the only ones with the solid amber/orange reflector piece.

Actually they are clear lenses. I put clear bulbs in our '95 SE, they appear to be amber due to the bulb inside them reflecting back.

I think you are talking about the reflector on the outside of the 99+ that has color... otherwise the whole assembly is clear.

katie, hate to burst your bubble like the rest of the people, but just take a look at your sig.......it's clear :P

i'd go with white too. i have the same bulbs vanishing does in my rig. but even those will get you attention if your not careful.

i had my truck parked outside of work one day and 2 cops circled it a couple times, stopped behind it (running tags) then came in asking if i knew who i was. i told them it was my truck, then they had to take me outside and tell me my bulbs were illegal and that they had seen me parked somewhere and they were flashing blue, even though they weren't. i told them they were white, so on and so forth. they told me not to let them see them again or they were gonna right me a ticket blah blah blah. (i like how they didn't even mention you can't even see in my truck......but they caught on to those blue bulbs :P) long story short.....if the cops get bored they can harrass you about them. and it's been about a year since that happened and they're still in there :D

I looked again at a pic of my car I took today.
It's confusing, but there're clear.
Here's a pic to show.

Damn... $49? I know I saw the same ones for $29 and even that's steep considering what they are. BTW, they don't light up.

And since the corner lens has become a topic by accident...
Lens is clear, bulb is amber. Like everyone said, the bulb reflects out even when off. Another suggestion for making it look completely clear, use a yellow LED. The unlit LED will be clear, but still yellow (legal) when lit.

i would go clear then if you're replacing the reflector. but i like clear lenses

is the white bulb for the turn signal (not the reflector) legal in MA?? is there a site where i can read about what is legal and illegal for LED's and neons & such?

I read recently somewhere i forget what exactly what it was either a car manual or like one of those books when you get your permit but i know for a fact in MA it says the blinkers HAVE to be either Amber (orange) or White so i have had white and not a trouble once. With the neons i know any aftermarket blue red or green lights are illegal. But my friend has had white underglows for awhile and he actually has them wired 2 his running lights (idiot) but has not been bothered once......
