I don't know if anyone here has one, but just wondering if anyone does have a manual turn on for your radiator fan. I'm probably going to be doing one since withthe lower temp thermostat, the fan dosen't kick on so That would also help get more air into the engine bay.

i have mine set up that way
I just had to get a new relay and heavy duty wires plus a heavy duty toggle switch
I do know some people use the existing relay and a new one so that they can control the fan and also have the fan turn on by itself when needed

I finally got around to trying the wireing from that site, and Apparently its different. The wire colors on my cars fan relay were different then they listed, which wasn't to much of a problem. Instead of getting a nother relay from a junk yard (like that article sugests) I used a DEI relay that we use at work. It took a little brain power, but I just had to find the fan trigger wire on the relay on the firewall, and then tapped "my" relay on to it. I was also able to pick up constant 12v at the fan relay as well so that helped make things easier. As opposed to the article saying you'd need to tag all the wires from the fan relay I only used 2....the fan trigger wire, and the 12v wire. I then ran my toggle inside and grounded it and Voila! Works like a charm. I did start off with a 15amp fuse on it, but it simply obiterated it. I stepped up the a 25 amp and that worked good.
If anyone else wants to do this I'll be more than happy to post more details on how I did it, along with wire colors.
