Does anyone else have one of these filters? I wanna get a 5" powerstack from this website, they are made out of the same stuff as K&N but allow more air flow. I'd like some input on these if anyone has any, thanks!

Nice find, I'm glad someone found something that might actually work out better than K&N. Not that I don't love their product, it's just that everyone has them and they never have really had the right cone application. Infact for my CAI I'm running a paper filter cause it actually flows better than any K&N out there that will fit, and filters better cause it's paper.
Again great find, going on the shopping list, probably before the proMAF even. Although I need it, I can't get the silly girl to stop running rich, even with a JET PCM. Which is just a cheap sub. for a proMAF.
Anyone willing to send me a link to really big bore TB's BTW???

Those filter rock!!!! I have one for my WAI and i could tell a difference in acceleration. It also makes you car sound turboed!! This guy in a honda was revving his engin next to me, so i revved back to let him know i'd race him, when he heard the whistle, he shook his head and backed down. That was beautiful. I love my filter!!

Are you using that 5" on a CAI or WAI, let us know. cause anything about WAI's is worthless, unless you like to cook your engine

i know someone on grandamgt.com has a 7" powerstack on his and praises it. i know that's probably what i'm gonna try next. does anyone know if we just use the k&n recharging/cleaning kit or if there's another kit we need for this filter? thanks!

first of all a WAI will not cook your engine, and yes, use the K&N cleaning kit

This S&B air filter ROCKS!!! Best once I've bought so far, the sound is too cool and improves gas milege and acceleration! You can tell the difference. Made just like the K&N only has the 3" cone indent at the end for more air intake. Great buy, quick and easy mod.

yep 5" powerstack cone with 3" ID but i had to get an adapter for it. if you dont want to get an adapter and just directly hook it up to the air intake get the 3.25" ID

i hve an APOC cai...3" or 3.25?

im not 100% sure on APOC. but in order to directly cover the air intake outlet you'll have to get a 3.25" ID on any filter you get. otherwise you'll need an adapter, id just measure the opening that you are connecting it to and figure it out that way.

just measure the diameter of the end of the intake pipe and that'll tell you what size you need.

or you can measure the part of the filter that connects to the end of the pipe, either way it's easy.
