Does anyone know if there's an engine book out there for the 3400 SFI?
Not familiar with tuneups with this engine.
Are the spark plugs easy to access?

Thanks,
Joe

Haynes has a repair manual out for the newer N-Body, and includes info on the 3400 V6. Sparkplugs aren't too bad, but not a walk in the park either. The front 3 plugs are a snap, the rear three require patience, come good tools, and tough skin. The process can be made a lot easier if you remove some parts. I found it best to remove the alternator, coils, and coil pack bracket.

Make sure you replace the plugs with AC Delco factory replacement platinums, or NGK TR-55IX Iridiums. These cars do not respond well to Bosch Platinum plugs, especially the +4.
