Just finished putting in the CAI into my grand am. It was pretty easy, i used the civic short ram method. Tutorial Here (http://www.n-body.net/tech/index.php) it was pretty easy, just took some time. Sounds pretty good and made my car a little more responsive. It cost me just about 70 dollars:

Civic short ram tube - $40
High air flow filter - $25
Rubber PVC coupler - $6

So if anyone wants to try this route, and has any questions, feel free to email me. I probably hit every problem there is to hit.

This might sound stupid, but will this work on my 2002 ECOTEC, any help would be appreciated.

Ecotech is the new GM engine, the 2.2L engine. The Cavalier and Sunfire's i belive have had them b4 GM started putting them in the newer GA's.....

And this intake won't work, the ecotech has almost the same bends as my 2.4(from pics it looked similar) You might be able to buy an AEM short ram intake that is for the 2.2 for the Cavalier or Sunfire(if they have them)

John did a great job on that intake!! Looks good!! :thumbup2:

I think you guys with the Eco will be seeing a lot of performance parts hitting the market in the near future.
