Something under the nose.

Underneath the nose of my ga, there are like plastic things, someone called them mud guards or whatever. Has anyone removed those that doesnt have a body kit? Mine are cracked and i tried to remove them but noticed they were a lot bigger (the piece behind it stretched out to about a foot id say) and covered underneath some of the engine. Now ive thought about taking some heavy duty cutters and trying to cut the rest of the broken plastic off but i am not sure if thats a smart thing to do. Ideas?


also, on grand am gt's, the ones i seen were chrome exhaust pipes, do they make those same ones for ga se's, or will those ones fit, and where can i get them from?

for one thing i have a body kit and still have them on why you ask, because if you take it off it leaves a lot of stuff open, if your talking about the shrowd thats under the car that connects to the wheel well ones i heard it was to protect the radiator from damage, and also in the wheel well there is a lot of parts like the horn exec that would be open.

And yes GT exhausts fit the SE's look in the performance section i did a post on it.

yes i know what your talking about its connected to the Wheel well cover you remove it and dont put a new one on you will leave the air intake open the horn will be open lots of other things will be open to get water and dirt in them.
