Slp?

I was just looking on SLP's site to see if they sell just their mufflers and saw they did.How would one sound on the 4cyl compaired to the v6 version? I guess its kind of hard to describe a sound unless you've heard it...Basically on my muffler right now in the low rpm's the sound is about a melow tone then as the rpm's get higher it gets more raspy,like a honda,not as bad tho.What would I be expecting from the SLP muffler?

i duno, i heard the SLP on some ones 6 and it sounded like total crap was all raspy and clingy sounded like a civic. That and they look like crap to. Looks like some metal spot welded together not even a shine to it.

ive heard it on a 6 as well and i liked how it sounded. not as loud as mine with the cat, intake, and flowmaster, but it sounded clean. the build quality was also pretty nice. not sure what the situation was for you xidion, maybe it wasnt really an SLP exhaust. SLP makes a lot of the aftermarket for GMs, IE: the ws6, GTX, firehawk... so i doubt theyd make a pieced together muffler.

there was pics on there site they look seriously like a 15yr old made it from sheet metal. And some dude on her had sounds of his car with it it sounded bad.,

yea i don't think they looked pieced together,they looked very nice to me,almost the same as the Borla,smooth.The pics on the site under universal products showed their logo on the muffler and it looked fine.I just dunno what muffler i want cuz the last two ive bought have sounded the same even after taking out the resonator for this second muffler,maybe i need to buy a true performance muffler and not a replica(my muffler is an on off-brand MagnaFlow,or a replica you could say).

Look at my cardomain and tell me SLP looks like crap. I have heard BORLA, FLOWMASTER, MAGNAFLOW, V-FORCE, DYNOMAX and many others and none of them pleased me as much as the SLP did. Why do you think hundreds of GA owners have SLP?
