I was just wondering....I did a search on here to see if anyone had the RK Sport Upper Mount insert, and I came up with next to nothing.

Does anyone have it on here? If not...... why?

I have no question that for the 15 bucks it is a great cheap mod; I had one on my Sunfire GT w/ the 2.4 and I could feel the difference. I am not saying that it is a whole alot of difference, but I could definitely tell that I was getting a little more torque to the wheels.

I think I might get the one for the 99 GA GT being that I was so pleased with my last one.

OOPPSS, Sorry I mis-read your question. I thought you couldn't find it. Anyway, I have been considering the same thing you have.

Well, like i said, I am getting one.

On my Sunfire GT, it was the best mod for the money, don't see why it wouldn't be as good on the GA.

I agree with you. I think it is a worthwhile mod. In addition, I will be adding the polyurethane torque strut and I found out that Napa makes a solid upper mount, for the pre-99 3100 to replace this POS hydraulic mount that keeps leaking. Have you considered the Polyurethane tranny mount from RK Sport?

I have considered it. The reason I don't think that I will be getting it - too much vibration noticed when installed. I used to be on j-body.org, and alot of people that put the poly lower mount on their Sunfires/Cavaliers complained of serious vibration inside the car.

It may be different for the GA's, but I will wait to see if anyone has any complaints before doing it or not.
