With what im currently running, rattles have become very irritating.

I've already put on sound deadening on my rear deck, and still its so bad u can hear it rattling outside the car, to the point where its almost embarrassing. The trunk itself is another story.

My spoiler now flex's about 1 inch up and down ( combined ), and I have dynamat on it too, mind u it helped.

Anyone have any secrets or ideas on reducing the noise from the rear deck.

Any and all suggestions

Expanding foam sometimes helps with rattles, but if you use too much it WILL warp your pannels. I've seen it happen....what a mess! Other than trying that, I know it sounds ghetto, but cutting up some pieces of a sponge and stuffing under the deck. Maybe gluing them to the rear deck metal then pushing the actual deck pannel down on top will help.

glueing carpet to bare metal helps, a alot. it stops rattles on panels better than dynamat because its soft not hard so it absorbs.

also, use black silicone to seal around the spoiler. that might help a bit as well.

I got 100sq ft. of Brown Bread for pretty cheap, so I went all te way and double wrapped the entire trunk

Other than that, I've hear good things about expanding foam, but like ninteen88ga said, it can get pretty messy, very quickly.

Good luck man

i've got dynamat xtreme on the entire trunk and lid of emily's beast, and it still rattles. it's not the annoying kind of rattle, but it rattles when you really get into it and the trunk lid moves probably a 1/4" total. rear deck only does it when the seat's up, but it stays down most of the time. gonna do like dave did and dynamat the rear deck.

for me, I just used extreme on my trunk lid and it cut down a ton of rattles. Though there is stil some more and Id really like to cut those little annoying ones, but I only get them when Im really pushing my system
