hey, tryin to find pics of your LED dome light and details - I saw em a while ago, now I can't find the post, I'm planning on doin similar....

check my cardomain... the pict is in there, as for wiring, i have 11 of them in there, and i put them on a 5W 330 resistor,they were wiredin parrallel, and then wired into one ofthe little dirctional lights what areno longerin use so i can use that switch to turn them on...

dude, sorry man, prolly didnt knowit was directed towards me?!?1?1 anyways, i got them off ebay, they were like 9.99.. but i now got some real ones that are so much better off ebay for like 29.99 and came out of a bug or somthing w/ projectors.. so im gonna finda custom location for those...

now run that by me again. i'm talking about the projector lenses in place of your headlights. are you?? and if you are you bought them for 9.99??? dayyummm homie that's cheap lol. i paid $400 for the ones in my truck

the ones in my car were just projector fog lights i got on ebay, mounted the whole thing in my headlight housing, they were seriously 9.99, and just a h3 bulb in there, but now i got a real projecotor from some car,and soon, im getting some real ones off a 740i... then we'll bein business...

how'd you mount it in your housing? take the cover off or drill a big hole? the ones off a 740 gonna be hard to use? i wanna do something like that to emily's car

well, the whole projector fog light housing was small enough to fit up in the whole housing, and yes, the i had to takethe lens off.. but for the 740's, its gonna be big a$$ hole time, and aiming/mounting shall be rather difficult... but 2 others have already done it...

i will vouch for that mounting and aiming is a biatch and im not exaggerating. Projectors are VERY picky if you dont have them aimed right vertically or horizontally and get the rotational on track you are messed up. Everything has to be perfect.

how'd you take the headlight apart? the projectors in my truck came as a whole lense, so it was take my old headlights out and put the new ones in, very easy install.

just take a utility knife nad cut aroudn the perimiter where the gray silicone is, and therewill be little plastic knubs in there and cut through those and pull or pry gently.. andthe lens will come off,

thx dude, but it looks like the SE dome light is diff. from GT....no biggy, I've got it figured out.....
