Albany people - is VALENTINES still open??

I am a native of Albany. Been in FL for almost 4 years and I am wondering if that club Valentines is still alive and kickin in Albany. I belive it is on Delaware Ave.

I want to catch a good band on Frday night possibly.

Being that I haven't been "home" in nearly 4 years, I want to relish in all the cool stuff I used to do back in the day. :)

Yes it's open but it's not on Delaware Ave, but close. Its actually on New Scotland Ave.

If your looking for metal shows or whatever there is also Saratoga Winners on Route9 in Halfmoon and Norhtern Lights on Route146 in CliftonPark both faily close to the area. For shows in the area check out http://www.StepUpPresents.com

Yes, I used to go to Saratoga Winners alot. I have seen a ton of bands there. I also used to go to Northern Lights up in Clifton Park, but that is somewhat of a haul.

I would like to get some members to go to a show at Valentines on either Friday or Saturday, but I am not sure how many of us would be into a hardcore/metal show.....
