fog lights

hi guys...i have foglights on my grand am already but since the wiring plug has a loose connection and i cant find a replacement plug without going to the dealer im deciding to get foglights....but there are soo many to choose from and ebay has soo many....im looking for the price range of like 30$ and i want really bright yellow ones so i can change my signal lights to white and still have something yellow on the front so the popos dont really pull me over

Ok brownie, you have to be very carfull with the ones you buy. Some packages will tell you that you have to check with your local officials, some say for off road use only those are usually the bright yellow ones your refering to. now i can only tell yu what i know, here in texas you cant have any blue lights that face front. also no yellow, but you can have the hyper white and plasma bulbs on the front of your car. now the lexus and toyotas get around that law here because they come from the factory with yellow fogs. my sugestion is for you to contacgt your police station at home ask them, now finally to answer your question Wal-Mart has a great selections of foglights all around thirty bucks. oh yeh totally i actually meant hyperwhite....but u know the bulbs are usually blue thats y i said blue haha.....yellow fogs are fine up here in canada i think that blue fogs are the ones that can get u pulled over..normally foglights are supposed to be yellow that was my understanding. I basically want my car to have the same look as the lexus IS300 yellow fogs and white everything else on the headlight! the only thing with walmart fogs is that they normally dont give specs for wattage output and stuff but uve helpt a lot
