We posted a thread a while back regarding a new GA kit that we are manufacturing. We got alot of well deserved $h!t for posting crappy pics. We have now completed the designs for the entire kit. We would like to hear your thoughts. The kit should go on sale around the first of May.

I would buy it if it wasnt fiber glass and it was a sure fit. After i spent about 1k on AAS and had to do all the mods i did to it for it to fit next kit i get better fit and be bade out of stuff that lasts. I got chips taked out of the AAS kit because its crappy fiber quality and have to repaint and refill the whole thing agin this summer.
if you ask me the kits for are cars being 1000+ is BS for what modds we have to do to them after they are made.

We do plan on making a FUNCTIONAL RAM AIR HOOD. we like the look of the hood with 2 nostrils, but 3 companies already make them. (non-functional.) We are considering other design options for the hood.
We purchased did purchase a competitors kit to compare quality. I'm not sure that I can say which one, but we were extremely unhappy with the quality. during instalation, it chipped in several places, and cracked!! The passenger side skirt was also 3/4" too short!
Our kit will be a perfect fit. We sent out the factory bumpers and rocker panels to have them laser fitted. They map out thousands of points to obtain specs on the body lines as well as bolt holes, and the lines where the kit will meet the car. We will recieve the CAD files from them. We will then add the design, and send that directly to the cnc machine to tool out the mold.
This kit will not be stiff and rigid like fiberglass kits. They will be as flexible as your factory parts. This makes for super easy instalation, and no more cracked bumpers if it happens to meet a curb!
If you can install a factory bumper, you can install this kit yourself!
Kits also come with pre-fit aluminum mesh.

Where are you located in New Castle? I'm looking for a place to install a kit and was wondering if you would install a kit on my 95 GA?

Sorry, we are not a body shop. We do have a retired body guy on board, but we did not bring him aboard to do installs! His knowledge and expertice are priceless!!!

Of course we will! Once the mold is created, we will manufacture one kit to test fitment. Once tested, we will create a second mold to meet demand. We have sold close to 2 dozen pre-orders, and we want to get them out as quickly as possible.
Yes, the 4 door model will follow.

The illustrations were modeled after my '99 SE. Those are the doors and mirrors that came stock.
The 2 door kits are expected to be ready to ship around the first of May. The 4 door will follow. Hopefully no more than 1-2 months after, but it all depends on how well the 2 door does.
We completely understand that everyone wants to see real pics of the kit. We will post them as soon as we complete the test kit.

03-18-2004, 01:49 PM
it looks nice....not really my style, but for the person lookin for the way aggressive look this is probably them. $1500 seems a little over the top. That's part of the reason tons of people so dispise aed. High prices. get it down near say 1000 and alot more people will buy it.
TheLamonizer
03-18-2004, 03:23 PM
yep...1500 is way to much, i mean its a nice kit and all but damn.

... this is not meant to instigate a "who's better debate" but aren't AED kits around the $1500 mark as well?
VanishingImage
03-18-2004, 07:34 PM
no,they are around 1800,or 2000 after shipping, well on average thats how much AED runs people. So this kit is actually still cheaper by a few hundred dollars.
TheLamonizer
03-18-2004, 08:00 PM
uhmm...is that 1500 shipped? because depending on where you live it would be the same price as AED would it not? lol now that i thought about it...500 dollars is a lot of money to get somthing shipped...
VanishingImage
03-18-2004, 08:26 PM
I would say its $1500 for the kit itself, should be about or around $1700 give or take after shipping, youd be saving money on this kit, cheaper then AED.

Well Id still an AED fan, I know it expensive, but its a nice kit and it fits way better than Andy's

03-18-2004, 11:17 PM
the front is to ricer lookin, to many grooves and shape changes, the rear over the exhaust is box like, our cars dont have a square feature on them so it kinda looks out of place, i do like the side skirts... but kit in full on a car might change my mind...

03-18-2004, 11:48 PM
O.K.
$1500.00 will more than likely include shipping.
The kit will also come with one pair of PIAA super LED accent lamps, your choice of brilliant white or intense blue light. (They are the lights that will fit the fog holes in the kit). (about $150.00 retail) Pictured below.
Also, the kit will come with prefit aluminum mesh.
Including the lights, mesh, material quality, shipping, and a 100% fitment gaurantee, I would say it is a gran-damn deal! You can decide for yourself this spring.
