oh i dunno yet id think like 50$ canadain and you pay for shiping.

all i know is that if i get the same turbo for my car i get a $200 core charge on mine lol so 50$ sounds fair. let me know what ya think and wen i know what im doing ill let you know.

I hope to know soon what ill be doing. IOm looking at prices and stuff see how much everything is gonna cost me. if its just a little bit more for aftermarket im going aftermarket if its a ton more im staying original.

Didn't you find a place that sold them already rebuilt for around that price? Also did you find any kits for rebuilting them? I need to replace a couple of parts in mine.

I did find a shop sells them rebuilt but the one they had is now gone.

No i dident find a kit mine is at adp distributors
they have a machine shop there that can handle almost anything youll need 4 turbos.

http://www.adpdistributors.com is the web site have a look make a call they cant really give you a price for repairs till they have your turbo.

I got my turbo off today after I inspected it last night and noticed it was blowing back through my motor, I thought it was working good but I had a vacumm leak, the waste gate is shot, the bearing in the fan is gone and I have a small crack in the housing, but I should be able to get the housing repaired because it isn't that bad and my buddy who does all the work on my GA is tracking down the parts for me in Ontario, I should know the price of the parts either tomorrow or Thursday!

Should be a fun summer now with a new turbo, new under lighting kit, all new detailed brakes and after looking for 4 years the original driving lights for the car :D

Good to hear, I'm hoping to get mine this week, I ended up buying a rebuilt out of the states for 640.00 Canadian after, my housing was cracked to bad to rebuilt my old one:mad:

This week I noticed I had a leak in my motor so I tore that all apart and ending up stripping the whole engine bay except for the block and the transmission, got it all sandblasted and almost really to prime now and should have it painted by Friday, then it's just a matter of detailing all the parts to put it all back together, just a bit late to do such a big project but oh well :D

I'll have lots of pictures later when I get them on the pc!

Ya now that you mention cracked houseing wen i brought mine in the guy told me that my turbo waz the best looking used t2 he has seen in years and he waz suprised that it wazent cracked he said they are prone to cracking.

Im glad mine waz fine.

Ive been looking into alot of stuff lately and ive now decided later on im gonna start building up a t3-t4 setup to drop in my car much later that is. if after this rebuild i hit my 200 hp mark il have to set a new one of 300 hp. ( for the future that is)

Nice job on the turbo. Look forward to seeing the complete write-up of your mods. And the hp numbers. Will help me decide what to do when I start putting mine back together.

I'm working with a guy in Norway to build up his Nissan 1.8l SOHC turbo engine. He recently bought a T25 off ebay with an A/R .68 exhaust side. It's getting shipped to me then off to Norway. I'll get some pics up when it gets here. I may get one myself if it turns out to spool as fast as advertised..."instantly"

whith a .68 ar i cant see it being instant the ar on my little t2 is .49 and it still has a little lag from what i hear .

with a big ar you need alot of exhaust to fill up that space id say on a big v6 or v8 it would spool up fast not on a i4.

just my 2 cents

I got the turbo in today. It's actualy .67 on the exhaust. Darn nice looking turbo. It's actually a stock turbo from an Isuzu. We'll see when my Norwegian friend gets his ride put together how it runs. I'm not shelling out any dollars just yet.
