Stock front speakers have xover?

I have a gt with the upgraded stereo system 2000 model witht eh front tweeters, i was sondering if the speaker wire that leads to the front 4*6 is a full range because i will need that when i install my new compoenets.


Or how hard is it to run new speaker wire into the door?

I think so. IIRC, the speaker wires come from the stereo and goes straight to the 4x6. Then wire goes from the 4x6 to the tweeter with a bass blocker between the 4x6 and tweeter. I'll be replacing my speakers with components today, i'll let you know if anything changes.
