turn signal

i was driving home from work this morning and i flipped on the left signal and turned the corner and it automatically came off than i went down the road about .5km and i heard the signal noise ticking again so i looked and my signal wasnt on and now it keeps doing it the odd time? whats happening??

i have that problem too, i changed the relay, but that wasnt my problem. i was told you have to take thwe switch apart and clean the terminals
