i currently own a pair of eurolite xenon hyperwhite headlamps...but am looking for more of the purple HID look. Most companies have the xenon purple headlamps but i was curious if anybody had a pair of these and could share their input. I'm debating between NOKYA arctic purple, PlasmaGlow HID Xenon-Krypton , or Eurolite Xenon super plasma.

For the price people pay for these imitation colored headlights and how many time they change them looking for something that looks like HIDs they could actually purcahse a real HID conversion kit.

pst.... 6.99 shipped off ebay, brand X bulbs, hyperwhite, in for a year now... f those expensive brands, piaa, eurolite, catz, ect... ebay is the best bet, and never spend over $20 for a pair of colored bulbs... waste of money, bulbs are bulbs, and hyperwhite is hyperwhite... super happy w/ my cheap bulbs..

Well if you want the true purple look Razor, then go with the Nokya Artic Purple,Ive got the Nokya Artic White(has the blue look) you'll deffly have the look you want:)
As for HID's deffly get them if you have the 350+bucks for it. Ive had my Nokya's for over a year so i wouldn't call them cheap,32 bucks for a pair.

it really pisses me off when people think filament bulbs are HID's. DO you have a Ballast? if not you DONT have HID's.

Ya i thought i would go the cheap route too.. and guess what happend??? the plastic melted into the housing.. luckily i cought it in time to clean it out and put the stocks back in b/f it caused more damage... if you feel like wiring a new headlight pigtail go ahead and use the cheap bulbs... but i'm waiting for true hid

well I don't know what bulbs you guys bought that melted the wiring harness but ive had mine for a year to year and half, nothing melted yet....And yes its missleading to say HID bulbs, its just the look of the color the bulbs give off,and i don't say i have HID,i have bulbs that replicate the HID look,if i could buy a kit i would.

Yeah, I say I have HID-Look hyperwhites..... I have no real interest in owning real HIDs. And I had the Nokya Arctic purples... I thought they were alright. I didn't really care for them.

i just say i have hyperwhites, why even throw HID in your description, that what you have, hyperewhite, not HID lookalikes.. just say hyperwhite...
as for cheapo's melting harness, pst.... never done it, and ive had the cheapest bulbs in all 3 of my grandams, in my toppless s-10, my roomies satty, and my girls zx2, and all of my buddies cars and trucks, (they dont have the internet so i bid and buy for them) never ever had a problem, look on the box, if it says more than 70W, ya gotta ask yourself.. hmm.. stock its like 55/60.. 70 is more.... ya know what i mean? be smart on the wattage you buy and you'll be ok, ive heard the farenheights can melt harness, but hey.
i dont consider myself a poser, cause idont say i have hid's, i always say hyperwhite, im saving for a house and cant justifiy spending $300 + on some headlights... but basicly cause im a cheap ass, and 6.99 bulbs work ok for me...
but if i found enough to buy them laying on the street, then sure, id love to do it, but only if i had some projectors, those are hella sexy.. .yum yum..

I agree with Magyver. No point of even saying HID. And yes some bulbs out there do look good, I personally like the look of the Silverstars. I don't care for all these crazy colored bulbs myself. I have all white bulbs in my truck, now I just need white bulbs to match my headlamps in my clear turns/corners right now they are a bit on the yellowish side.
