allright, so I gotta throw the changer in the new ride... but where is the best place?
I've got a couple 12inch subs in a ported bandpass in the trunk, so I dont think the changer will hold up too well in there.
In my old car, I just stuck it under the seat, but that is NOT the way I wanna go here.
I think it'll fit in the glove box, but only at a strange angle (I'm at work right now, can't test that theory). the changer is designed to be mounted at any angle between 0 and 90 degrees. But, everytime I open and close the glove box, its gonna be shifting around. that can't be good.
Any suggestions on what others have done would be great.

There still should be room in the trunk to get that puppy in there, but if there's not, if you have fold down seats you can screw it right onto them, or you could even screw it into the acutally box itself.

i've got emily's mounted beside her box.......and if a ported 18" isn't gonna rattle it enough to make it skip i dont think the 2 12s will, unless you have a cheapy cd changer that doesn't have some kind of anti-skip. the trunk would be the best spot in these cars. when i had the cd changer in my truck it was mounted at 90 degrees behind my seat.......and emily's (same changer) is mounted at 90 too.
before i mounted it to the box i'd sit a glass of water on top of the box and turn it up and see how bad the water rattles. if the glass isn't moving you should be alright with mounting it on the box. but i wouldn't suggest you mount it on the box if at all possible

Mine fit under the glove box. I used the mounting bracket on the left side, screwed directly to under-dash piece on right.

Note: really old pic, but that changer is actually back in use in the same spot right now.

allright, thanks everybody.
Center counsel is too small, but that would be nice. as for the changer, its a pioneer from about 2years ago, and I dont ever remember it skipping. I wasnt sure if the trunk would work at all wiith all the shake, so thanks for the input. Matt95GT got a pretty sweet set up there too, easy access, so long as someone doesnt knees it. I think I'll go trunk for the time being.

It actually sits up out of the way far enough. When I planned it I tried getting in/out multiple times. I'm 6'0" and never even bumped it. Only prob was when I totalled my previous 94 coupe. My ex had a bruise on her shin, I'm assuming that's what she hit.
It is being replaced with a MP3 capable unit soon, but the new one is going in the trunk since...
-out of sight, out of mind (anti-theft)
-silver doesn't match my interior
-the new one doesn't require a separate 12V line.
