Anyone know if they make headlight covers that dont totally blackout the lenses? I want a bit of a tint to them, not totally blacked.

if you don't want to make them dark you can buy some tint spray and open up the headlight and spray the tint spray on the inside of the headlight lens. But thats if you always want the look, but if you want to be able to remove it then go for the headlight covers in carbon fiber,OR,buy the clear headlight covers and use the tint spray on those.

or they make those gay looking ones with the holes in them....for the "projector" look.

That occured to me, but the car is leased so id have to buy new headlights when I trade it back in.

I own the carbon fiber headlight covers and they still severly darken your headlights. I have Sylvania Silverstar headlights in my car and the road is just barely visible.

How do they attach to the car?

The GTS ones go on by Velcro, but the adhessive is very strong so no worries of them flying off unless you didn't press them on firmly enough.I've got the black out tail light covers and they do STICK so no worries on that.Id just get the clear covers and use the tint spray and get them to the darkness you want, best way looks like for the way your wanting.

Actually for '99+ the GTS snap on which IMO is far better than the velcro one like the AVS brand. I used the velcro on one of my old Fbodies and lost it two days later while racing a TA.

Well I dunno how good the AVS ones are but the two people i know here that have the covers with the velcro haven't had problems....anyways,the head light covers and tinting them Id say is the best way to go for the look your wanting.

Does anyone have a link to an online store that sells the clears or the carbons that are not velcro (don't want to risk it)? Theres no store up here in canada (or at least where I live) that sells anything like that. Unless someone here knows of a Canadian Tire that might.

this is just a complaint, so sorry everyone and not to offend anyone.

but when you have headlights YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TAKE THEM OFF AT NIGHT!!!!!!

ok, i feel much better now :). it just makes common sense people. i've had headlight covers before, but i took them off everytime i drove at night. took me all of 5 seconds to take both of them off.

and im with john on this one, mine kind of snapped around the headlight and i liked it alot better than velcro. and velcro makes them too easy to steal. same with the double sided tape

http://www.driverfx.ca is a good place to start, jus go into "what fits my vehicle" and put in ur info, then when it comes up looking for parts, just click on headlight covers, and theres a few there, or i think http://www.pepboys.com has them too
