engine whistles

sometimes when i'm idleling my engine will whistle it's a very high pitch annoying sqeal, the car runs fine except for the tps but thats not high priority (I don't think).
Any advise would be helpful.

maybe its your belt, or a leak in the intake piping

When it's making the noise, lift the hood and try to locate the source.

Also, identify if it's a mechanical squeal or an air-created whistle.
The nature of the sound will help us more accurately guess at it's source.
