I recently posted on how my back left kept sinking when I would apply the brake after startup. Now, it kind of makes a grinding noise after initial braking after cold startup...kind of like when you slam on your brakes in gravel, that kind of noise. It kind of clunks every now and then too. I've noticed my ABS light comes on randomly, usually when driving. Anybody know what the problem/s could be? Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like the shoes on the back brakes are toast. when brakes get to metal to metal they sound like gravel when you use them. The squeek also makes since as the bear metal will rust slightly over night.
If you have the correct tools jack it up place some stands, block the tires up.
Place the car in N and remove the parking brake. Now spin the tire you hear the sound from. If you hear any sounds clunks, pings, or the wheel james for a sec. You found the problem.

mine did the same thing... they had gotten so bad that they actually wore a groove into the drum... replaced shoes and drums, and now everything works great!

Hmm.....I hope I don't have to replace the drums as well. I've been swappin' out my engine and that's drained my funds so I wont be able to afford to replace those as well. We'll see what happens when I go to check them.
