Hello, i own a 92 Grand-Am automatic, with the 3.3L engine, it has roughly 105,000 miles on it i went to change the drive belt and apparently you have to somehow remove the upper engine mounting bracket how do you remove it????. I used to own an 86 grand-am with the 2.8L engine in it. it ran beautifully until i took it into pep boys for a tune-up and a fuel injection cleaning, mind you it ran fine i just thought it was time for some upkeep maint. when i got it back the engine went about 10 miles started shaking and blowing smoke, long story short they wrtecked the engine they put 3 different kinds and sizes of spark plugs in it ,. anyways any help would be appreciated. thank you

Yeah, you need to support the engine from beneath with a jack (careful to distribute the weight, don't punch a hole in the oil pan) and then remove the upper engine mount to replace the belt.
Examine the mount, the rubber may be deteriorated or broken and now would be a good time to replace it.
After you replace the belt, I recommend replacing the tensioner. It has internal parts that wear, so it's something that needs ocassional replacement.
If it breaks, it will take the brand new belt with it, and possibly leave you stranded.
Get a Haynes shop manual and follow the procedures.
Good luck.

REMOVE THE ENGINE MOUNT TO CHANGE THE BELT?!!!! NO WAY!!!
when you look at the engine mount on the right side of the car. there are numerous bolts that hold that thing together. when you look at it from drivers side fender to the passenger side, you will notice 4 BOLTS that hold the engine bracket TO the mount. unloosten the four bolts, i believe they are 13mm, it seems that size is used all of the place on the 3300's. you can PULL THE MOTOR TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE CAR A LITTLE BIT. there will be enough room for you to slip the belt in between the mount and the bracket. slide the motor back into postion to remount the 4 BOLTS, and instal, the belt. you're done.
