I tried a search and didn't come up with anything.
On a 2000 Grand Am GT, when you buy an aftermarket/remanufactured power steering pump- are there any parts you have to swap from the old pump and put onto the new pump?
The reman. pumps I've had, you have to replace the metal part with the electrical connector in it. Even with Form-A-Gasket, it's leaking where the metal hits the metal.
So, if you've swapped out power steering pumps, does it come with EVERYTHING you need, or do you really have to swap off the old electrical connector and tapped metal part (for the feed line I think it is??).
Thanks in advance!
