I have searched the forum and did find some info on the best places to get through the firewall for an amp install, but all I could find was related to '99 or newer.

My '97 does not appear to have a grommet for existing wires anywhere easily accessible. Maybe I'm just not seeing it, if anyone here has wired up an amp in '97 SE, please help me out here. I really dont want to have to drill through the firewall, mainly because there is not much room for error, if you know what I mean.

Im using 8 gauge wire. thanks for any help you can give:)

there should be a hole up near the top on the drivers side that has wires running thru...near the brake stuff...its right behind my clutch fluid tube...but i had to take all the carpet out of the drivers side but it was easy and runs straight up to the battery...good luck....:)
