They say they have stock parts work up to 250 hp? What I wanna know is HOW do you get it up that high? NO one makes parts for the Ecotec I can't even find a CAI for it. I am kinda disapointed in the ecotec :(. Unless there is some special site that has ecotec parts I don't think there are any. Does anyone know were you can get performance parts for them?

you must have patience. Performance parts didnt just appear for all the vehicles overnight it took months of planning if not years. Considering the engine was made global in 2002 I think they are right on target there are superchargers for it and a turbo kit. Rsmracing has the majority of the stuff for this engine. Which I wrote in another thread that you asked this question. http://www.rsmracing.com and twistec makes a turbo and exhaust system http://www.twistecproducts.com any other questions feel free to ask me or post them on here and I will answer to the best of my knowledge

There is also www.manatapart.com - Their customer service is not very consistent, but if you order C.O.D. you should be OK...

Are you sure? I just looked at their site and I did not see any CAI systems there.

You've been given at least 3 links for sites that have CAIs - we can take you to the water, but you have to drink it. Many roll their own instead since it's cheaper.

Well actually none of them have just CAI's I emailed all of them. You got to buy the throrrle bodies too which costs alot. Sorry if I got you made LF I just wanted to find a plain CAI and not by anything else.

I merged the 2 parts of these threads together since they both are about the same thing posted by the same person.

I noticed that after i told you the link. They use to have it listed seperate. Saturn Performance system makes one for the Ecotec you may want to check with them and find out more info and if it will fit the Grand AM here is the link http://www.spswebpage.com/store/index.php?cat=ion&sub=Intake%20and%20Filter&sid=e08f546d083bf3f02f2fca3bbc6a0fed
The Ecotec is used in the saturn VUE, L-Series, and The ION
Other than that I dont know what really to tell you I would like a new intake also but I'll probably just build my own

Ive been telling everyone patience pays off. It takes time to develop items and I would rather spend the time and have them developed right than have them done quick and wrong
