WOuld it be easy wiring the neons to do that, yet still be able to turn them on/off whenever?

I had the same question. Tried to make a diagram. The wiring would be pretty weird. You would probably have to wire into your parking lamps but then the underbodies would come on when you turned on your parking lamps. and you would have to have a switch to turn off the underbodies but that might mess up the parking lamps, and this was the longest runon sentence ever.

it could be done, the best way would be with a relay from your parking lamps, and then when you turn on your parking lamps they're going to come on so, put a switch before the relay, that way they only come on if your parking lamps are on, and the switch is flipped

If I follow that right, then you have to have your lights on to turn the neons on? No way to have just the neons on by themselves?
If I had keyless entry I'd be all over the flashing neon (though I prefer LED) idea!

yes it's possible. i know a guy that has his flash with his car alarm, but he has a toggle switch to turn them on/off at his will. dont know how he done it, never asked and never really thought about it

You could do it..... run a positive wire from you parking lamps to your switch then run the positive wire from you neons to the switch and then ground the switch. Your parking lights would have to be on to turn the neons on but the they are on at night and the only time you turn your neons on is at night. It would keep you from accidently leaving your neons on too.... hey, I should do that. That would be pretty cool.

Why are we even incoperating the parking lights into this? I'm sure someone can find the lead wire that makes the parking lamps flash when locking and unlocking the doors and simple splice into that. Anyone have a wiring diagram?
And it's far easier with a aftermarket system, simply wire the lead for the parking lights to the positive on the underbody lights.
