LED tails

How hard is it to convert my tail lights from regular bulbs to led? Is it just a matter of changing the bulbs or is there more involved?

For the regular taillight bulbs you can buy Jamstrait LEDs.

Regular 3157 LED conversion bulbs will work, as long as they are the GM type. (Ford ones will not work)

You will also need to change the thermal flasher unit to an electronic one, otherwise the turn signals will not flash. Can be found for $8 at you local auto parts store.

Do you have cleared GT tails? LED bulbs will not provide enough brightness thru a red SE tail lens.
