Well I have finally made a final decision on how about finishing my custom tail lights.Im still going with the 2 4 inch lights but I found just the lens themselves,no light,this way i can mold them into the housing and just use whatever lights I want to......What I need to know is how am I going to wire them up.....There gonna be only 3 working lights,or atleas thats what my goal is,in each tail. A brake/stop/turn light, a brake/stop light,then then backup/reverse.Now theres no modification neccessary for the backup since theres already a light for that but what Im needing is how to wire up the outer light to make it flash when im turning and light when Im braking,kind of like the new Impala's,how the outermost circle will flash when the turn signal is on but light up when braking,but if braking and turning it will just flash.Hope thats not to confusing,if so then i'll try and make it simpler.........I want the brake light thats closer to the side of the car to flash when I have my turn signal on.Since my tails have like 5 lights i need to make it to where i only need 3 and 2 to do two things.

for the STOP/Turn light you need a light with dual inputs. so itll be a 3 wire connect. 1) stop input, 2) turn input, 3) ground. the other light needs to also be a dual input because you need a Tail light/ Brake light. not sure where youre gonna find it, but good luck. the good thing is that you can find a dual input light, and use two of them on each side.

well aren't the stock 3157 bulbs dual filament,meaning they can have a stop and a flash filament? As for wiring them,is there anyway of just using the stock wiring harness and re do it without having to get into the dash as well?

Ok,thanks to Brandon(magyver) I found what I needed.Its a tail light converter,like 13 bucks at Wal-Mart,it turns seperate lights into one unit,which is exactly what Im wanting to do:)

here are just a couple pics of my final decision on style.Im just using 4 4inch red reflector lenses and molding them in and sealing them in,overlapping the inner one over the outer one,kind of creating the "euro" look but still custom.......
