Turn Signals

Anyone know if there is a clear replacement bulb I can buy to replace the orange bulbs near the front of the nose of a 99 se?

clear as meaning a white blinker? If so the APC Bright White bulbs are a very nice bulb to have as a turn signal,won't have to worry about police,they don't care and i do believe its legall in most all states......But if you want a clear bulb but keep the amber color,I think Sylvannia SilverStars will do the trick.

That orange is fused into the headlamp. There's no way to take it off. Your only options are vinyl (like me and a bunch of other people here have) and the blackout covers. Other than that, your S.O.L.

lol, he had a question about the bulb. i thought that's what he meant at first too though.

just your average clear bulb will give off a yellowish tint. the light is white, but if you have some superwhite headlights then the normal bulb is going to look yellow next to them

i found out that i can get actual white bulbs for the blinkers.
now just to find out what actual size i need, cause i figure if since i have a black car, a blue bulb that glows white will look good in contrast with the color of my car. ive already ordered some black vinyl covers for the reflectors, tho.

A white turn signal is indeed Illegal. Although many officers won't pull you over simply for that alone unless they are looking for a reason.

white turn signals arent illegal !

In the USA the only colors that are legal from the front of the vehicle are white and amber. And for the rear its red, white and amber.

Ive been pulled over and gone to court enough times for illegal lighting that i know that law by heart.

i was thinking of putting the vinyl, then installing some nice side markers

and SC/T, i think those laws are going to vary from state to state. but im with you, i think white are legal. that's what i was told
