I just got my GAOC vinyl for my opera windows and I really need to find a way to remove the logo on the opera window that says its safety glass or whatever it says. There's a (crappy cameraphone) pic below to claify. A razorblade that I used to get off my old parking passes had no effect.

P.S. I know my 'e' is mangled, leave me alone! lol

Use a dremel to remove a logo off of the glass? That just doesn't sound right. And if that works, how do I keep from scratching the glass all up?

it all depends on the tips! and if u use a soft but abrasive enough touch it wont go through. J.

Id be very careful, that sh!t isn't like any regular type of sticker that comes on cars....That is more or less printed onto the glass,if you run your fingernail over it you'll see how tough it is.Id be very leary of using a dremel tool on it,if anything you'll end up roughing the glass up in the area and yea you might be able to get it to shine but there will be very fine scratch marks where it used to be.Can't really think of anything,i was wanting to remove this myself and i tried going the same route as for taking off the badges but the stuff didn't work, try using a heat gun on low or a hair drier and see if it doesn't turn mushy and then rub it off, prolly best bet,the heat won't really hurt the glass i don't think, hell i think the car sitting out on a hot summers day would end up getting hotter then the gun would by just going side to side with it.

I'm thinking about calling up a glass shop and seeing if they have any help for me.

No problem. It looks good, wasn't too expensive, and with the tons of help I have gotten here, I don't mind a little bit of a plug for the GAOC. I'm proud to show that I am a member.

It would frighten me too. Honestly, it's not something that I would attempt on my car. :(
